Hymans understands key drivers, challenges and opportunities for most industries. We live and breathe valuations every day, so our breadth of knowledge and experience is second to none. There is no need to guess what your business is worth – contact Hymans and let our experts provide you with an informed value.
The cost of a business valuation depends on a number of factors including the purpose of the valuation, the information available, the timeframe, and the values required. Business valuations do not need to cost an arm and a leg: we rarely see conventional assignments where the valuation costs exceed $10,000, and most instructions are in the $3,000-$6,000 (ex GST) range.
The turnaround time of a business valuation depends on the availability of complete and concise company documents. It is also impacted by access to relevant company staff (such as CEOs, CFOs, Directors, etc.) to answer questions and offer clarification.
In most cases, we will be able to provide an accurate timeline once we have reviewed the available information and discussed the scope of the project with stakeholders. As a guide we anticipate 7-15 business days depending on complexity and the quality of the information provided.
The short answer is no! Business valuations are complex and detail-oriented. Hymans will need to read and analyse relevant documents such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, tax returns, budgets and the like to complete a business valuation.
